If you've ever set a level on a freshly framed deck and let it slide across the joists, you already know the move. It's a builder's badge of honor — proof your frame is flat and your work is dialed in.

So we got to thinking — what if we took that satisfying level slide and kicked it up a notch? Add some flair. Change the setting. Get a little weird with it. As you can see in our video, it's a lot of fun — and the possibilities are wide open.

Here's what we mean by "creative":

• Film it on the jobsite, in the shop, on your tailgate — wherever inspiration strikes
• Add a twist — trick shots, chain reactions, slow-mo, unexpected surfaces
• Get the whole crew involved or go solo
• Set it to music, narrate it, or let the slide speak for itself
• Think outside the deck frame — we want to see ideas we've never seen before

Creativity is subjective, and that's the point. There's no wrong way to do this. We're open to all interpretations of the challenge — whether it's cinematic or casual, polished or raw. We want to see what the builder community as a whole can come up with. So grab your level, pull out your phone, and have some fun with it.
